1. Introduction

Every ENG Custom product represents our commitment to craftsmanship, precision, and performance.
Our carbon fiber and forged carbon components are hand-crafted using advanced resin and vacuum-infusion techniques to achieve lightweight strength and a deep, premium finish.

Each piece is designed to enhance your vehicle’s aesthetics and presence — but proper installation, protection, and maintenance are essential to keep your product looking and performing at its best.

All ENG Custom products are intended for off-road or show use only, unless otherwise stated.

2. 6-Month Appearance & Clear Finish Guarantee

Because every product is hand-made, no two are exactly alike. Small weave variations, pinholes, or surface marks may occur and are considered normal.
ENG Custom stands behind its work and offers a 6-month limited appearance guarantee for clear-coat quality and finish integrity.

Covered Under This Warranty:

  • Heavy cloudiness or hazing visible under natural sunlight

  • Clear-coat bubbling larger than 3/8" in diameter

  • Delamination or surface separation not caused by external stress or heat

  • Severe weave distortion from the manufacturing process

  • Clear-coat discoloration exceeding one full shade within six months (under normal exposure)

Not Covered:

  • Damage from improper installation, drilling, or trimming

  • Impact, collision, or stress-fracture damage

  • UV fading, yellowing, or oxidation caused by lack of protection

  • Flake color fading in forged carbon products (gold, silver, blue, green, purple, pink, red) — fading to silver over time is natural

  • Wear and tear from excessive heat, chemicals, or prolonged outdoor exposure

  • Labor, paint, coating, or installation costs

Dry carbon products are raw and require clear-coat or wrap protection. Failure to apply protection voids appearance coverage.

Warranty applies only to the original purchaser with proof of purchase and photo documentation of the affected area.
Warranty coverage is limited to repair or replacement of the product at ENG Custom’s discretion.

3. Forged Carbon Flake Disclaimer

Forged carbon finishes that include colored flakes (gold, silver, blue, green, purple, pink, or red) may gradually fade or shift color due to UV light, heat, or chemical exposure.
This process is cosmetic and not a defect. To help maintain the color:

  • Apply a ceramic coating or UV-blocking PPF every 3–6 months.

  • Avoid strong degreasers, alcohol-based cleaners, or harsh solvents.

  • Store or park the vehicle indoors when possible.

All flake finishes will naturally fade toward a silver hue with age or exposure — this is normal and expected.

4. Fitment Information

Carbon fiber components are not stamped like factory metal parts. They require careful alignment, and in some cases, light modification or expansion to achieve perfect fitment.

Installation Guidance:

  • Professional installation is required. Carbon fiber requires experience — not all body shops are qualified.

  • Many parts (such as fenders, lips, and diffusers) may require minor sanding, drilling, or trimming during installation.

  • Do not force-fit carbon fiber panels. Tightening under tension can lead to stress cracks or delamination.

  • Always test-fit all parts before painting, wrapping, or coating.

  • If the product sits near heat sources (engine bays, exhausts, etc.), use heat shields to prevent resin aging or clear-coat damage.

Warning: Composite materials cannot absorb heavy torque or twisting force. Always hand-tighten bolts and avoid power tools.

5. Care & Maintenance

Your carbon fiber component is a premium, high-performance material that deserves proper care to maintain its finish and strength.

Cleaning

  • Hand wash only — no automatic or high-pressure car washes.

  • Use pH-neutral automotive shampoo and clean microfiber towels.

  • Rinse with low water pressure and dry gently with microfiber to prevent water spots.

  • Avoid harsh chemicals, degreasers, or alcohol-based cleaners.

UV & Heat Protection

  • Apply a ceramic coating or paint protection film (PPF) designed for carbon fiber.

  • Avoid extended parking in direct sunlight — use a car cover or shaded area.

  • Avoid exposure to extreme heat or direct engine temperatures on raw parts.

  • Reapply ceramic protection every 4–6 months to maintain a deep gloss and UV resistance.

Polishing

  • Light scratches or swirl marks can be corrected using a non-abrasive finishing polish.

  • Never wet-sand unless performed by a professional experienced with carbon finishes.

  • Do not polish forged carbon aggressively — flakes can lose clarity if overheated.

6. Handling Cracks or Damage

If a carbon fiber part becomes cracked, chipped, or delaminated:

  1. Stop using it immediately if it’s structural or load-bearing (splitters, wings, fenders).

  2. Minor surface cracks can be sealed with clear epoxy resin for temporary protection.

  3. Deep cracks, splits, or resin separation require professional composite repair — contact ENG Custom for authorized repair options.

  4. Do not attempt to “flex” a cracked piece into alignment — this can worsen delamination.

  5. Avoid exposing damaged parts to moisture; water can seep into layers and cause internal fogging.

ENG Custom can refer customers to approved composite repair facilities for proper re-resin and re-clear work.

7. Shipping Damage Policy

Every ENG Custom product is inspected and packaged securely prior to shipment.
However, shipping damage can occur during transit.

Inspect Before Signing:

  • Examine all boxes and products before accepting delivery.

  • Note any dents, tears, or punctures on the freight bill while the driver is present.

  • Take at least three photos (close-up of damage, wide shot of product, and box condition).

  • Email support@engcustom.com within 24 hours of delivery.

Do not refuse the shipment without authorization — this may void claim eligibility.
ENG Custom will assist in coordinating carrier claims, but the shipping carrier is responsible for compensation.

8. Returns & Exchanges

  • Returns must be requested within 7 days of delivery.

  • All returns require a Return Authorization (RA) number.

  • Returned items must be uninstalled, unpainted, and in original packaging.

  • Approved returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

  • Special-order and clearance items are final sale.

  • Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.

ENG Custom reserves the right to inspect all returned items before approval.

9. Legal Disclaimer

ENG Custom products are designed for off-road and show use only, unless stated otherwise.
Buyer assumes full responsibility for:

  • Compliance with local vehicle laws and safety requirements

  • Proper installation and maintenance

  • Any injury, damage, or loss caused by misuse or improper installation

ENG Custom is not responsible for:

  • Labor, paint, or installation expenses

  • Losses from incorrect installation, modification, or over-tightening

  • Heat or UV damage caused by neglect or lack of maintenance
